Julie Adcock, Pulsar employee, raises £506 at chairty quiz night

Pulsar’s Electronic Manufacturing employee, Julie Adcock, successfully raises £506 at charity quiz night for Help for Heroes Charity.

Julie Adcock, employee of Pulsar Process Measurement’s Electronic Manufacturing Facility in Essex, has been busy raising funds for the Help for Heroes charity. Further to the charity quiz night held in July, Julie has also skydived in January (raising £650) and is scheduled to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on August 12th 2017 - a gruelling 12-hour walking challenge up the 728m hills (already £500 has been pledged).

Julie became a fundraiser for the Help for Heroes charity following the loss of a close friend, who took their own life last August. Julie says: "I wanted to do something in his memory and for something positive to come out of this difficult and upsetting experience. My friend served in the military for over 24 years and suffered with PTSD & depression when he left the army. Help for Heroes provides support for our forces and veterans with physical and mental injuries sustained whilst serving.”

With the help of family, friends and work colleagues at Pulsar Process Measurement, Since January, Julie has raised over £1,500 for the charity and this figure looks set to grow.
