Encapsulation and Conformal Coating

Our conformal coating material is a thin polymeric film which 'conforms' to the contours of a printed circuit board to protect the board's components. Typically applied at 10-210‎µm (micrometers) it is applied to electronic circuitry to act as protection against moisture, dust, chemicals and temperature extremes.

Potting and encapsulation resins offer the highest level of protection for PCBs. By encapsulating the entire PCB the resin provides complete insulation for the unit thereby combining good electrical properties with excellent mechanical protection.

With robotic conformal coating equipment or an accurate conformal coating dispenser, Pulsar are able to offer these services in addition to PCB assembly.
